Fariha Chowdhry serves as Of Counsel to the firm, focusing on immigration and family law. She is a first-generation American who grew up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and her personal background informs her thoughtful and empathetic approach to working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Fariha earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston in 2014, graduating magna cum laude with a minor in Women’s Studies. She went on to earn her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2018. During law school, she participated in the Asylum and Human Trafficking Clinic, where she represented clients in U visa, T visa, and asylum matters—an experience that sparked her long-term interest in immigration law.

Since 2019, Fariha has represented clients in both affirmative and defensive asylum cases, as well as other forms of humanitarian relief and family-based immigration. She has experience appearing before USCIS and the Immigration Court and regularly prepares motions, briefs, and supporting evidence for complex cases.

In addition to her immigration practice, Fariha also handles family law matters, including divorce and custody. She is certified in mediation by the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution and uses these skills to help resolve disputes in a constructive manner.
